The founder of Park City Club adjacent to Fraze Pavilion in Kettering will change the name of the restaurant to “Roost American” effective next week, aligning it with its sister restaurant Roost Modern Italian in Dayton’s Oregon District.
Roost Modern Italian was founded more than five years ago. Downs opened Park City Club in December 2015.
“The restaurant industry is ever changing” Downs said in a release. “With two restaurants, we can internally compare
our results restaurant-to-restaurant to help us deliver a better product with even greater service.”
Downs said bringing together both restaurants under the brand for which she is most well-known made sense, and the change will help diners know what to expect when visiting each restaurant.
The change is effective Feb. 15.
Roost Italian is located at 524 E. Fifth St. and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is closed Monday.
Roost American is located at 580 Lincoln Park Blvd. and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. It is closed Sunday and Monday.
